This Privacy Policy explains how ChalkNFilm ("ChalkNFilm," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our flag football coaching app and website at chalknfilm.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account. You may also add a display name.
- Coaching content you create — team names, team codes, playbooks, plays, formations, and any game film you upload or draw on.
- Payment information — when you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we receive only your subscription status and the email tied to your purchase.
- Live session data — when you use the Film & Chalk Room, live video and audio are transmitted in real time to connected teammates. We do not record or store this stream.
- Basic technical data — standard information your device and browser send (such as IP address and device type) used to deliver and secure the Service.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and coaching teams.
- To store and sync your playbooks, teams, and film across your devices.
- To process subscriptions and confirm your access level.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted third parties only to operate the Service. Each receives only what it needs:
- Supabase — secure account authentication and database storage.
- Stripe — subscription payment processing.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
- Agora — real-time video/audio for live film sessions.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Data retention
We keep your account and coaching content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and coaching content are removed from our systems.
How to delete your account and data
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from inside the app (Settings), or by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account." We will process deletion requests promptly.
Children's privacy
ChalkNFilm is built for coaches and is not directed to children under 13. Coaches are responsible for any team information they enter. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections and hashed passwords — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
